Playtime For Your Best Buddy!
MEDIA RELEASE NOVEMBER 2013
Playtime For Your Best Buddy!
The BENEFUL Play Truck tours the country to get people playing with their dogs!

This summer, the BENEFUL team is bringing good old-fashioned playtime back for Kiwis and their beloved dogs! From November until March, the BENEFUL Play Truck will be tiki-touring New Zealand, visiting parks and doggie hot spots to unleash a truckload of fun.
Bring your four-legged friend along to try out the BENEFUL PLAY-gility course, complete with seesaws, jumps, tunnels and weave poles. If that’s not your thing, there’ll also be heaps of tennis balls and throwers for a good old game of fetch, doggie dress ups and fun photo opportunities for you and your furry friend. Plus, the BENEFUL Play Team will be giving out special treats and spot prizes for you to take home.
Don’t let your best buddy sit at home bored all weekend – after all, play is good for you both!
Mark Vette, expert animal behaviourist, says: “Having dedicated playtime is absolutely essential for a happy, healthy and well-stimulated dog. It’s a time for your dog to have fun, bond with you, relieve stress and get good exercise all at the same time!”
“Plus, a dog that’s had lots of playtime is likely to be more relaxed and well-behaved at home. Attention seeking antics and destructive behaviour are often a sign of boredom, so make a day out of the BENEFUL Playtime events and everyone will feel the benefits!”
The BENEFUL Playtime events are listed on the Purina NZ Facebook page and www.eventfinder.co.nz - check it out to find out when the BENEFUL Play Truck is coming to you!
PLAY. It’s good for you.®
