Tangimoana Library presents author and investigative journalist Nicky Hager who will talk about the contentious new GCSB bill (Government Communication Security Bureau bill), what it means for citizens’ privacy, and the role Tangimoana spy station might have in it. Nicky Hager has written extensively about the network of communications and intelligence agencies and is considered an expert in the field. His knowledge about the spy network Echelon and the New Zealand GCSB facilities in Waihopai and Tangimoana is second to none so we can expect an interesting and inspiring evening
