Girl crashes off quad bike

This morning Taupo's Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to Tihoi, west of Taupo to a 19 year girl who had rolled her quad bike while descending a hillside.

She was thrown from the bike as it rolled and landed in a large gorse bush.

She was taken to Waikato Hospital with spinal and abdominal injuries.
