Wellington Zoofari welcomes Porirua East School
The Warehouse Wellington Zoofari welcomes Porirua East School
119 students from Porirua East School
will visit Wellington Zoo at 10am on Wednesday 27 August as
part of the Warehouse Wellington Zoofari programme.
The Warehouse Zoofari is a partnership between Wellington Zoo and The Warehouse that helps local low-decile schools experience conservation-based learning programmes at the Zoo.
The Warehouse’s Wellington region stores raised over $25,000 in December to assist with the costs of learning sessions at Wellington Zoo. Schools from around the Wellington region were invited to apply, and 16 schools will visit the Zoo as part of the 2014 programme.
