Makos Player David Havili Turns Pink for Boot Camp
Makos Player David Havili Turns Pink for Boot Camp
Tasman Makos rugby union representative
player, David Havili, will be switching colours and working
out in pink at the annual Boot Camp for Breast Cancer this
Sunday November 16th, as a show of his support for the
event, which marks the finale of two months of fundraising
activities organised by the Nelson Regional Breast &
Gynaecological Cancer Trust.
Trustee, Kate Coote says
there are still entries available for the two hour fun
focused boot camp, which raised over $13,000 last
year.
“I strongly encourage all Nelsonians to follow
David Havili’s lead and come along to the event this
Sunday” says Coote.
“It’s a two hour low level boot camp, which is really more about having fun while working out, and there are prizes for best dressed woman, man and team, with pink the natural obligatory colour!”.
Boot Camp for Breast Cancer will take place from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm (registration at 9:30am) this Sunday November 16th, 2014, at Nelson Girls College and will be run by trainer Greg Witika from Wairua Body Coaching Systems.
