Karori and Khandallah Fairs 2014

Karori and Khandallah Fairs 2014

At 2 November 2014

The outstanding feature of this season’s events will be the participation of the “Imaginarium” recycled cardboard-box creative playland, as seen at the Reading Cinema shop in August-September of this year. Parents, kids, and everyone creative are invited to come and have fun making something, or just marvel at the extent of people’s imaginations and creativity.

Musical performers this year include the teenage sensation Alana Kirby and her show “Our Paradise”, the Beautiful sounds and songs of Charlotte Hewson, and award-winning 12-year-old Peyton Morete. Photos and bios available.

Karori Fair Day, Saturday 13 December 2014

The Karori Fair Day is held annually in the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Karori Community Centre, from Karori Rd through to Beauchamp St, and including St Johns community hall. It runs from 10am until 3pm.

The craft stalls at Karori Fair Day are of a high standard, featuring genuine hand-made and local crafts; plus food stalls, a music performance stage, and kids’ activities and kids’ rides areas.

Locals are warmly invited to participate in any ways they choose: performers, stallholders, information stalls, fundraisers, membership drives, just attend and enjoy; or get in touch with your ideas.

Khandallah Village Fair, Sunday 14 December 2014

The Khandallah Village Fair, now in its 12th consecutive year, is a very popular yet small community fair held in Khandallah’s shopping centre, Ganges Rd, on the second Sunday in December, from 10am until 3pm.
