Man airlifted from Lake Rotoehu
The Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue helicopter was dispatched to Lake Rotoehu (30km NE of Rotorua) Saturday afternoon to asset a man who had received stings from insects.
The 44
year old Hamilton man appeared to suffering from a reaction
from the insect’s.
He was treated at the scene and
airlifted to Rotorua Hospital in a comfortable condition for
further assessment.
The helicopter was deployed as the site was isolated.
