Life Flight attends a Quad Bike Accident in the Wairarapa
At approximately 1:00pm this this afternoon the Life Flight Trust was responded to the Wairarapa to an injured farm worker.
Life Flight responded in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic on board.
The Female farm worked in her late teen’s had been riding the quad bike up a hill when the bike tipped and she fell off.
The Helicopter was able to land near the patients location. The injured worker was being treated by a local Ambulance crew. Once the Helicopter was on scene the farmer was loaded into the Helicopter then flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department with moderate injuries.
