Karori Clothing Swap Fundraiser

Karori Clothing Swap Fundraiser

After a successful event last year the Karori Clothing Swap is opening its doors again on Friday 6 November, from 7pm – 10pm at the St Johns Hall (corner Karori Road and Campbell Street) in Karori. Organiser Inge Doig says “The Karori Clothing Swap is an annual event to raise funds for community projects”. This year the funds raised will be donated to the Karori Event Centre build project.

The Karori Clothing Swap is a good opportunity to de-clutter your wardrobe and fill it with clothes you will actually wear. As well as raising funds and a fun evening out clothing swaps are also considered an act of environmentalism.

Tickets are $15, which includes entry and a complimentary drink upon arrival. Raffles will also be for sale on the night, and stall holders can book a table for $25 to sell their own crafts/ homewares etc.

Bring good quality, clean clothing to swap: bring 1 item choose 1, bring 2 choose 2 etc. Additional items will be $5 each (cash only) and designer clothes as marked. To book your tickets now call 476 7854. Karori Clothing Swap is on Facebook.
