House fires keep Vector crews busy

Electricity
Six car v pole incidents kept Vector crews busy this week. They occurred in Takanini, Mt Albert, Mangere, Glenfield, Takanini, Otara and Onehunga. Cars also struck pillars in Clover Park and Whenuapai.
Crews also attended ten house fires to isolate the electricity supply so fire service personnel could work safely in Mt Albert, Mangere, West Harbour, Henderson, Otara (2), Grafton, Orewa and Flatbush.
Gas
Damage was caused to our networks in Hamilton (2), Mt Eden, Karaka and Papatoetoe during the week after reports of third party damage.
