Freemans Bay Playcentre 40th
Jubilee Open Day
Freemans Bay Playcentre will hold an open day to celebrate their 40th Jubilee on Sunday 15 November, 2-5pm.
The Playcentre, formerly known as Auckland Central Playcentre, will celebrate 40 years of providing whanau-led quality early childhood education with children’s activities, a sausage sizzle, commemorative tea towels and cake.
Kyra Rice, Co-ordinator of the Playcentre, says, “We warmly welcome all past members of the centre to attend our Jubilee Open Day and are excited to reconnect with the many whanau who have started their journey in education at Freemans Bay Playcentre”.
Local MP, the Hon. Nikki Kaye, will be in attendance, and interested members of the public are also welcome to join the festivities.
Victoria Park New World has kindly sponsored the sausage sizzle, and commemorative tea towels will be available to purchase. All funds raised will go directly towards the continued running of the Playcentre.
