2015 Quality Account launch
2015 Quality Account launch
The 2015 NMDHB Quality Account ‘Healthcare Initiatives in Nelson Marlborough’ will be officially launched in Nelson and Wairau on Thursday 3 December.
The publication is an important snapshot of the work the District Health Board does and the quality improvement initiatives that help improve the delivery of the health service in the Nelson Marlborough district.
Chief Executive Chris Fleming says patients are at the heart of our services and the desire to create a better service for them drives our quality improvements.
“I believe there is always a need for continuous quality improvement and our clinical staff along with our Clinical Governance group strive to create a culture where innovation and excellence flourishes,” he says.
NMDHB General Manager for Clinical Governance Support Karen Vaughan says the health professionals in our region are committed to innovation and the examples included in the Quality Account demonstrate this.
“The account provides our communities with a clear indication of the Health and Quality outcomes being delivered within the DHB,” she says. “It also shows the commitment our health professionals have to continuous quality improvement and to delivering the best health service possible.”
Consumer Advisors also gave their perspective to the 2015 Quality Account content.
