Southern Commuters Benefit From Vector’s New EV Charger
Vector’s electric vehicle charger programme is being further extended on Wednesday with the launch of a dual port standard charger at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau, bringing the number of Vector chargers in Auckland to ten.
Vector was the first to install two rapid chargers in the CBD, along with two dual port standard chargers, one at the Britomart car park, the other at the NorthWest shopping centre, and two standard chargers at its Newmarket headquarters. A further two rapid chargers and a standard dual port charger were installed in Newmarket last month.

Electricity
Vector crews attended four house fires in Weymouth, Grey Lynn, Papatoetoe and Pinehill in order to isolate the electricity supply for safety.
Crews also attended seven car v pole incidents in Silverdale, Birkdale, Manurewa, Mt Albert, Paremoremo, Mt Wellington and Mt Roskill. Cars also struck pillars in Glen Eden and Botany Downs.
Crews attended two house fires which occurred in Clendon Park and Pt Chevalier in order to isolate the electricity supply for safety.
Gas
Third party contractors caused damage to our networks in Tauranga, Titirangi, Rotorua, Silverdale, Cockle Bay, Otahuhu and Onehunga.
