Sky Tower glows for Belgium
Sky Tower glows for Belgium
Tonight Auckland’s Sky Tower will glow black, yellow and red in support of the people of Belgium following the tragic Brussels attacks.
The Sky Tower is one of several major buildings and monuments around the world to light up for Belgium including the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Trevi Fountain in Rome, Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.
The Sky Tower is the southern hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure based in the heart of Auckland, and is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations or events.
