Albert Street – Not closed, not open for next five years
Albert Street – Not closed, not open for next five years
Making Albert Street work for business and residents during the next five years of major construction will be a test for everyone involved, says Michael Barnett, Auckland Chamber of Commerce CEO.
“Some restrictions are in place even though major work is yet to commence. But already we are being contacted by businesses concerned that there are better ways to manage traffic flows and access to properties.”
The Auckland Chamber is contacting business affected inviting them to register their concerns to a special purpose emailalbertst@chamber.co.nz
“We want to make sure the concerns of Albert Street businesses are heard and to ensure Auckland Council takes note of the impact its actions might be having on business and can be addressed.”
