Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter call outs

The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Raglan late in the day to assist and transport a 11 year old boy that sustained burns to his face from an explosion in a fire that he was attending.
This was followed by a flight to New Plymouth to transport a child that sustained a dog bite to the face. Both patients are now in Waikato Hospital ED. Both missions where completed with the aid of Night Vision Goggles.
The first flight of the day was to Taumarunui with the ICU team for a serious medical condition.
