Otago Tsunami Advisory Lifted
Otago Tsunami Advisory #2
The
tsunami threat to the South Island has been lifted.
The Otago Civil Defence Emergency
Management Group activated in response to the tsunami
advisory of a potential threat to the coast. We are in a
monitoring response.
The warning is still in place
for the north coast of the North Island. It is worth anyone
on the coast being aware of the earthquake and alert to any
unusual wave patterns.
