Auckland Central Multiple Birth Club announces name change to Multiples Auckland Central
The Auckland Central Multiple Birth Club is a volunteer organisation that supports and advocates for parents of multiples. The club has officially changed its name to Multiples Auckland Central to better reflect all their members, and to focus on providing support not just for the early days but for the life-long journey of being a multiples family.
Multiples Auckland Central provides an array of services to parents of multiples, including networking evenings for expectant families, social and educational activities, hiring equipment and running Facebook support groups. Most notably, Multiples Auckland Central is organising and hosting the 2017 Multiples NZ conference.
“We intend to
develop stronger communities, as the conference is about
bringing people together to support, educate and connect,”
says conference organiser, Emma Haigh. “It is a
celebration of where people have come, what they have been
through and where they are
heading.”
