Golden Bay Grand Stand
Golden Bay Grand Stand
Golden Bay Grand Stand Community Trust (the Trust) is meeting with TDC in Takaka this week on Wednesday 16 August 9.30am regarding the future of the Golden Bay grandstand.
The Trust expects TDC to present a formalised agreement. It is anticipated that the discussion will include carparking and stormwater.
The Trust is in favour of keeping the community of Golden Bay informed to ensure that we can work together to fulfill the community’s wishes.
Project Manager Paul Crockford has been working with the Council to gain access to the squash court and clubrooms to start seeing what could be utilised for the restoration work needed for the grandstand, and to gain an understanding of work needed to strengthen the back wall of the grandstand.
