GMT Penrose Warehouse Fire
Goodman (NZ) Limited, the Manager of Goodman Property Trust (“GMT” or “Trust”), has advised that the Humes warehouse facility within Connect Business Park in Penrose has been badly damaged by fire.
The fire at the 940 sqm building was extinguished by Fire Services during the night. The cause of the fire has yet to be established.
Goodman (NZ) Limited's Chief Executive Officer, John Dakin said “The small warehouse building is fully insured and we are now working with Humes to minimise the interruption to its business operations. We are also working with KiwiRail to address the impacts on neighbouring rail services.”
The warehouse represents less than 0.1% of GMT’s property portfolio.
