Waikato DHB has confirmed 61 COVID-19 cases which can be directly or indirectly linked to the Redoubt Bar in Matamata.
Recent cases have been confirmed as close contacts of those who attended the bar on or around St Patrick’s Day.
The DHB asks that Waikato residents visit their local Community Based Assessment Centre if they develop symptoms of COVID-19. The lockdown allows travel to these drive-through facilities.
