UPDATE: Serious Crash, Ngongotaha - Bay Of Plenty

One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Ngongotaha.

Emergency services were called to the crash on SH5 about 5.25am.

The driver and sole occupant died at the scene.

Diversions remain in place.
