Road Reopens Following Christchurch Southern Motorway Crash - Canterbury

The southbound lane has reopened following the serious crash on the Southern Motorway around 1:40pm.

One person was seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience while the road was closed.

The circumstances of the crash will be subject to investigation.
