Disappearance of Anaru Moana - Search In Waimate
A search operation is due to take place this week in relation to the disappearance of 37-year-old Anaru Moana.
Mr Moana was reported missing in December 2021 and has not been seen since.
Police have identified search areas of interest in the Waimate area, and residents can expect to see a heightened Police presence in and around the town.
"We're focused on returning Anaru to his whānau, who have been waiting a long time for answers," says Detective Inspector Joel Syme.
"We're determined to find him, and hold those responsible for his disappearance to account."
