Police lay charges over sexual assault incident
Police have identified a man previously sought as part
of our investigation into an alleged sexual assault in
central Auckland last weekend.
The 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the incident on 24 July.
He has been charged with assault with intent to commit rape, burglary, indecent assault and three counts of doing an indecent act.
The man is due to appear in the Auckland District Court today.
Police would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance and for sharing our appeal in this matter.
As the matter is before the Court, Police are not able to comment further at this time.
