Serious crash, Waitomo - Waikato

Emergency services are in attendance at a serious crash in Waitomo.

It happened shortly before 6am on State Highway 3 at Hangatiki.

The crash involved a single van and it’s understood eight people are
injured – two critically, two seriously, and four moderately.

The highway is closed and motorists are asked to follow posted diversions.
