Investigation Into Stokes Valley Death
Detective Inspector Haley Ryan, Wellington District Police:
Police are investigating a death at a Stokes Valley address overnight.
Emergency services were called to a George Street property shortly after 2am. One person was located deceased at the scene, and a second person received critical injuries.
A scene examination is being carried out to determine what has occurred, and there is a heightened Police presence in the area.
Information will be released proactively when it becomes available.
