An earlier gas leak in Milford has now been resolved.
Police were notified of the incident on Shakespeare Road at around 11.06am and assisted Fire and Emergency Services NZ with traffic management.
Cordons have now been removed in the area.
Police would like to thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation.
