Otago Highways All Reopened After Snow Closures
UPDATE: State highways in Otago that were closed by snow that fell overnight have now all reopened.
State Highway 85 from Kyeburn to Palmerston, State Highway 85 from Omakau to Kyeburn, State Highway 8 Tarras to Omarama (Lindis Pass), and State Highway 87 from Outram to Kyeburn, are all now open again after work by road crews.

NZTA urges people to think about adjusting speeds and travelling distances, being visible and avoiding sudden braking or turning movements.
