Paving Works State Highway 2 Waitakaruru
Road resurfacing works are coming up overnight along State Highway 2 (SH2) in Waitakaruru between Steen Road and the State Highway 25 (SH25) roundabout.
The paving work is scheduled from 2 to 21 October between 9pm to 5am, excluding Friday and Saturday nights.
Road uses should be aware that there will be lane restrictions and stop/go traffic management in place while work is underway. Please slow down and adhere to the instructions of the traffic management team.
The work is being carried out at night when the traffic volumes are lower. Properties nearby will experience increased noise levels as the team remove the chip seal and reconstruct the road surface. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you in advance for your support as we carry out this important maintenance.
These works are weather dependent and may change from advertised dates. Contingency shifts have been scheduled between 22 and 30 October if required.
