Phoenix Fans – Catch A Ride With Metlink On Game Day
Extra capacity on Metlink train services and larger buses will be running for fans heading to the Wellington Phoenix double header at Sky Stadium on Saturday 8 November.
The Phoenix women will kick off their season with a 4pm game against Canberra United, followed by the Phoenix men’s derby against Auckland FC, at 7pm.
Standard Saturday timetables will run on all train lines. The Hutt Valley and Johnsonville lines will have extra services after the game. There will be no extra services on the Kapiti line after the match. Passengers are advised to check the timetable and plan ahead.
Core bus routes will have increased capacity, and the East-by-West ferry will be running at standard operating times.
Metlink recommends using Snapper to tag on and off. It’s the most affordable way to pay.
Plan ahead and travel early on game day using the latest travel information on the Metlink app, website, or by calling 0800 801 700.
