Loan Service Net Operational - A Non Bank First

Last Friday (15 September 2000) Cairns Lockie Limited became the first non-bank mortgage lender to offer an internet banking service.

The company had previously offered customers telephone access to their accounts through the Loan Service Line.

While the telephone service will continue, a number of enhancements have been included on the internet access facility called the Cairns Lockie LOAN SERVICE NET.

Customers will now be able to
Check their loan balance and details
Review their complete loan history
Request interim statements
Schedule additional payments and
Request redraws

The LOAN SERVICE NET is available between 8am and midnight, 7 days a week and is accessible through the Cairns Lockie website at www.emortgage.co.nz. In addition, a demonstration is available at the same location. The LOAN SERVICE NET uses 128-bit data encryption security, to protect customer information.
