BP Drops Petrol Prices 3 Cents

PRICES 3 CENTS
BP has dropped its petrol prices by 3 cents a litre from 5pm today (Friday, 3 November) at its company-owned service stations nation-wide.
The drop lowers BP’s prices at most of its service stations in the main cities to $1.15.9 for Unleaded 91 and $1.20.9 for Premium Unleaded. Diesel prices remain unchanged.
BP’s Managing Director Peter Griffiths said the decrease is due to lower refined petrol prices which have dropped from about NZ$84 to about NZ$80 per barrel.
Mr Griffiths said today’s drop proves that BP is committed to passing on to motorists the benefits of lower international prices as soon as possible.
He said he hopes the downward trend on petrol prices will continue.
“BP is very aware how much petrol prices affect motorists so today’s price drop is excellent news, not just for motorists but also for New Zealand’s economy.”
