BP Won’t Be Outdone on Price

BP today dropped the price of
petrol and diesel by 3 cents
nation-wide, saying it will
always give its customers great prices.
The decrease takes prices at most BP company-owned service stations to $1.06.9 for Unleaded 91, $1.11.9 for Premium Unleaded and 79.9 cents for diesel.
BP’s Managing Director Peter Griffiths said BP has led more price drops this year than any of our competitors: 11 of the past 17 nation-wide decreases.
“We have been the market leader for over 10 years and will hold that position into the future through providing sharply priced fuels and giving excellent service on our forecourts.”
“We are also the only oil company in New Zealand to sell fuels that are better for the environment – and priced the same as conventional fuels. We recently launched a low sulphur diesel and will shortly sell New Zealand’s most powerful and cleanest-burning petrol, BP Ultimate.”
Mr Griffiths said today’s price drop comes at a great time for motorists as they fill up before Christmas.
