It’s Not Called ‘Kiwi Bank’
New Zealand Post’s proposed new bank will not be called ‘Kiwi Bank’, John Allen, Chief Executive of New Zealand Post Enterprises, said today.
“It’s correct that the domain name www.kiwibank.co.nz was transferred to New Zealand Post in mid-July after being initially registered by a legal firm acting on our behalf, but this is not the name of the new bank.
“Kiwi Bank has been used regularly by the media and others to describe the new bank and we will use this domain name to redirect Internet users to the actual site of the new bank.
“New Zealand Post will announce the name of the new bank later this year but it will not be called Kiwi Bank.”
