Shell Announces Price Changes
Shell New Zealand is to raise prices on its petrol and diesel, effective immediately. Petrol in the main centres will now be 112.9 cents per litre for Ultra 91, 117.9 cents per litre for Ultra High (96) and 80.9 cents per litre for diesel.
Shell New Zealand Retail Manger Steve Foster said the price rises were a result of increases in the price of refined products, and the weakening exchange rate.
Mr Foster said that despite this move, Shell was constantly monitoring prices, and was determined to continue to bring Shell customers the lowest possible prices.
