Shell gives customers one more price discount to end 2001
Shell New Zealand is ending 2001 the way it started it - by offering another price reduction to customers.
Shell is reducing the price of both grades of petrol and diesel; by 10 cents per litre, effective immediately, until midnight tomorrow (Saturday).
“Shell has consistently taken the lead in bringing a range of price reductions to customers in 2001 - from coupon savings, to short term reductions like today’s, to permanent reductions in the price as conditions have allowed,“ Shell spokesman Simon King said today.
“Shell is the company that initiated the 10 cent discount days, and we are doing it again.
“Shell is committed to bringing the lowest possible prices to customers, and to win new customers by continuing to offer special deals - and being the first to do so.
“Shell will continue to take the lead in pricing initiatives in 2002. It is a pretty tough market, and we are determined to continue to build our share of the market through innovative pricing strategies,” Mr King said.
