Supply Number Clarification

Confusion has arisen for some dairy farmers over their supply number that appears on the voting papers for a referendum currently underway on industry good funding. A new digit has recently been introduced by Fonterra at the front of the existing supply numbers in Northland, Waikato and the Lower North Island. The referendum is being conducted using the old numbers and this will have no impact on its validity, says Peter Bodeker, chief executive of Dairy InSight.
