Another Price Drop from BP

BP has dropped its petrol and diesel prices by 2 cents a litre with immediate effect.
It is the third drop in two weeks and comes on the back of a firming New Zealand dollar. The NZ dollar currently sits at 47 cents against the US dollar - the strongest it has been since June 2000.
Petrol prices at BP owned service stations will
today drop to
$1.06.9 a litre for Unleaded 91, $1.11.9
for Premium Unleaded, and 65.9 cents a litre for diesel.
Wholesale prices to independent BP service stations will
drop at midnight tonight.
Some parts of the country already with discount pricing may see a smaller decrease.
BP Managing Director Peter Griffiths said the stronger dollar is great news for motorists.
“If it lasts
and world oil prices remain steady, fuel prices will stay
down for some time.”
