New appointments for Auckland Convention Bureau
Tourism Auckland has announced two appointments to the Auckland Convention Bureau, which markets the region as a convention and incentive travel destination.
The bureau's current Sales Manager - Australia, Jackie Rouleston Stuart, has been promoted to head the bureau, replacing Rachel Macaulay who leaves this week after seven years in the role.
Mrs Rouleston Stuart joined the bureau in September last year from Hotels Grand Chancellor, where she was national conference sales manager. Mrs Rouleston Stuart also has extensive experience in conference sales and television advertising sales in Australia.
Natalee Hampson has been appointed as Sales Executive - Australia for the bureau. Ms Hampson has in-depth knowledge of the Auckland region, having spent the last two years as Communications Co-ordinator for Tourism Auckland's media team. Ms Hampson and Mrs Rouleston Stuart will work together to aggressively target the Australian market.
Tourism Auckland Chief Executive Graeme Osborne says the appointments will ensure the bureau's ongoing success in attracting conference business to the region.
