Rangatira Appoints New Director

The Chairman of Rangatira Limited, Mr Norman Geary, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lindsay Gillanders to the Board of Directors.

Mr Gillanders is a Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Limited and Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings Limited.

He was previously a director of Fisher & Paykel Industries Limited and was closely involved in the reorganisation of the Company, which was completed in November 2001.

Mr Gillanders has held various positions in Fisher & Paykel Industries’ legal department since 1977. In 1992, Mr Gillanders became responsible for Fisher & Paykel Industries Limited’s legal, regulatory, compliance and intellectual property rights, and has worked on major commercial agreements including acquisitions and divestments by both the appliances and healthcare businesses.

He continues to provide legal services to both companies under a consultancy arrangement. Mr Gillanders is a graduate LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland.
