New Zealand Chambers Of Commerce - Policy Launch
Following the publication in February of our economic policy base document "Achieving Faster Growth for New Zealand", Chambers of Commerce nationwide will be launching the first in a series of five more detailed booklets in Dunedin later this week.
The subject title is "Innovation: the key to doubling our rate of productivity growth". It contains some common-sense and practical suggestions on how to get more economic "bang" from both public and private-sector science and research bucks.
This document will be launched by New Zealand Chambers of Commerce and Industry at a special function to be held at the Otago Club, Dunedin, commencing at 4.30pm this Wednesday 16 April. Chamber CEOs from Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago will be in attendance.
Advance copies of the document (embargoed till then) will be sent by e-mail today to media.
