Car Dealers Offer Million Dollar Reward
Some lucky car buyer could win a million dollars in what is believed to be t he biggest prize ever offered as part of a New Zealand sales promotion.
Between now and November 2nd, dealers on Auckland’s “Greenlane Boulevard of Cars” are offering customers the chance to win a million dollars.
In November one buyer’s name will be drawn. That person will be offered the chance to pick the bag containing the million dollars from a hundred numbered cash bags. Inside each of the other 99 bags is $5000.00. If the million dollars isn’t won, a 101st bag reveals the winning numb er.
Greenlane “Boulevard of Cars” board member Ken Bertrand says dealers hope the million dollars will be won.
It’s cost his As sociation’s members tens of thousands dollars to underwrite the promotion through an offshore insurance company.
He says having a winner would be a wonderful return on that investment for the dealers as well as the lucky car buyer.
The offer is open to car buyers from all over the
country - through participating dealers in Greenlane.
