Just released survey results clearly indicate that Fairfax Magazine publication onHoliday is becoming a trendsetter for travellers looking for new options.
The Audit Bureau of Circulations figures puts onHoliday’s circulation for January – June at 21,014, which is 4.6% up on the previous six months and demonstrates that this new publication is increasing in popularity.
Nielsen Media’s survey for July 2002 – June 2003 shows a 97,000 readership.
“These results are extremely positive, and reflect the feedback about onHoliday and how the travelling public is responding to it.
“Readers are taking it beyond the one-off read and using it as a resource to plan their holidays and trips. Feedback from towns profiled in onHoliday is that people take their copies with them and use the recommended accommodation, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities precisely as they are recommended in the magazine.
“This is a great compliment and endorses onHoliday’s approach in style and format,” Ms Coughlan said.
“We are confident that onHoliday will sustain this upward trend as it continues to meet reader expectations.”
