Editor In Chief - Appointed At Fairfax Magazines
Fairfax Magazines has announced the promotion of Kate Coughlan to the newly created position of editor in chief – lifestyle publications.
Ms Coughlan is currently editor of NZ House & Garden the country’s most read home and lifestyle title and the fast growing onHoliday magazine, roles she will continue to fulfil. Sarah Sandley, general manager, Fairfax Magazines, says the promotion of Ms Coughlan reflects the company’s desire to enhance and build on its position as New Zealand’s leading publisher of lifestyle magazines. “With the recent addition of Cuisine and the launch of onHoliday we have a full range of quality New Zealand titles in our lifestyle stable.
“Kate brings a wealth of experience to the role and we are confident this will result in a continuation of the quality magazines readers have come to expect from Fairfax Magazines. Kate will also be responsible for on-going development of the titles that will further cement our position as the readers’ favourite publisher of lifestyle magazines.”
The
appointment is effective October 1st 2003.
