Freedom Air Christchurch Fares Heat Up Winter
Low cost airline, Freedom Air is heating up winter with the launch of its latest really, really small Trans Tasman fares from Christchurch.
Freedom Air flights from Christchurch to Brisbane and the Gold Coast start from $119* one-way, representing a saving of $70. These fares are on sale until 20 April 2004 or until sold out. Travel at this price is for the period between 1 July and 16 September 2004. *Airfares exclude an $8 insurance surcharge and all other taxes.
Rachel Gardiner, Freedom Air sales and marketing manager, says the latest fares can save Cantabrians time and money on Trans Tasman travel. “Freedom Air is the only airline that flies direct from Christchurch to the Gold Coast,” she says. “Our direct flights and really, really small fares mean that our passengers have more time and money to spend soaking up the sun in Queensland.”
Bookings can be made on the Freedom Air website at www.freedomair.com, or by calling the Reservations Centre on 0800 600 500 where a service fee of $3 each way will apply.
Freedom Air recently launched direct services from Christchurch to Nadi, Fiji. Its inaugural flight to Fiji is due to take off on 13 May 2004.
