Waikato Times Becomes Easier To Navigate
Readers of The Waikato Times will find it even more user friendly following changes to the layout and the addition of some new features.
The revamped weekday format will provide consistency throughout the paper, allowing readers to easily locate key features.
Bryce Johns, editor of the Waikato Times, says “previously everything was a little bit all over the place but now sections have a regular home. For example sports will now be found on the back page of section one.”
The paper is also growing in size with a minimum of 4 extra pages a day, delivering more international, business, sports, national and local news.
The changes come after a major improvement to the Saturday edition last year, which went morning and has grown to 120 pages.
“The response to the Saturday paper as a morning edition continues to be very positive hence the addition of more pages through the week.”
“The Waikato Times is about passion and delivering a better product for the people,” concluded Mr Johns.
Other proposed changes will see features on local community activities including events in smaller communities and those involving other ethnicities.
