Subway Celebrates Shrek 2 In New Zealand

Shrek and Donkey have landed in New Zealand and are available as part of a special exclusive Subway promotion for Shrek 2-The Movie.

It's the first time Subway has had the merchandise rights for a movie promotion of this magnitude and the special offers will continue for as long as stock holds out or till August.

The promotion also includes the additional incentive of instant prize coupons for other Shrek 2 merchandise and the major prize of a nationwide draw for a Ford Fiesta.

Junior Shrek 2 fans will love the special Kid's Pack which features a choice of a prestigious Plush soft toy Shrek or Donkey toy with a Deli Sandwich, small Fresh Up fruit juice and a fruit roll-up, for $4.50.

And for the more mature Shrek fan, there's a special promotion around the limited edition Shrek 2 3-D cup. The cups are the only ones of their kind in the country and come with the bonus of an instant prize coupon.

The instant prizes include a Hewlett Packard PC, Playstation 2, Shrek 2 games, toys, posters, soundtrack CD's, special edition 3D movie DVD plus Shrek 2 toys.

All coupons returned to a "second chance draw" at Subway stores will be placed in the national draw for a Ford Fiesta at the end of the promotion.

The limited edition hologram cups feature two different movie scenes. The cups will be released separately and are available for an additional $2.50 with any Subway sandwich. The cup comes with your choice of drink and a cookie in an upgrade known as a Fresh Value meal.
