OceanaGold Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
OceanaGold is delighted to announce that Brian Kinsella has been appointed as its chief financial officer.
Brian is an experienced senior financial executive who is returning to the mining industry after time spent in chief financial officer roles with Bob Jane T-Marts Pty Ltd, Finemore Holdings Limited, Fluor Daniel Pty Ltd and more recently, a role with Nylex Limited. Brians extensive mining experience was gained in various finance positions over 15 years with Pasminco and CRA in base metals and coal.
He is a Certified Practising Accountant, fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Corporate Management.
Chief executive officer Stephen Orr said Brian will be an important member of the OceanaGold executive team as we double production to more than 350,000 ounces from our New Zealand operations and seek opportunities to transform OceanaGold into a global gold company.
