The Newspaper Advertising Bureau is delighted to announce that the winner of our recent Thrifty Car Rental Case Study promotion, was Jan Clark of Colenso BBDO in Auckland. Congratulations Jan, who gets to look sexy in a MINI for a weekend.

Young Guns Blazing

The Newspaper Advertising Bureau is pleased to announce that New Zealand’s advertising students have picked up gongs at the Young Guns Awards held last Friday 19th November in Sydney, Australia.

The NAB sponsored their work into the Young Gun Awards, as part of their Interschool Creative Newspaper Advertising Competition, held earlier this year. Accolades include: Silver - Andrea Price and Sarut Ekwisahn for Lego Bronze- Jason Ng and Sagar Paranjpe for SKY TV and Finalists – Karen O’Leary & Verity Butt for Gameboy

Young Guns is an international awards competition for emerging creative talent under the age of 30. Young Guns on average, receives entries from more than 51 countries. The Young Guns jury consists of some of the world’s most acclaimed creatives.

This great result at Young Guns follows the outstanding success at the recent Singapore Crowbar Awards. Again, the NAB sponsored student entries into these awards. Of the 11,000 entries worldwide, these students gained 4 bronze, 2 gold, and the overall “Best in Show” award.

The Newspaper Advertising Bureau is pleased to be associated with the county’s Advertising Schools and foster emerging talent. The winning student work can be viewed on our website www.nabs.co.nz.
